Kuba Progress Pictures

Here are some progress pictures of Kuba. I've finally reached the entrelac section and things are going quite smoothly. The only problem I've encountered is that the stitch holders keep getting in the way. I've completed 13 squares on the front so far.

Just Checking In

I haven't felt like blogging lately, hence the lack of posts.

I also have not been in the mood to work on Icarus. Instead, I've been working on Kuba. Yes, that knit that I whole heartedly complained about because it was SOOOOO boring. Well, I'm certainly not bored with it any more. In fact, It's been completely the opposite. I cannot stop working on it. Unfortunately, this has resulted in an EXTREME case of Icarus-No-Knit-Itis.

I'm not sure there is a cure at this point. Kuba and I are fast approaching the base of Entrelac Mountain, and I do not think Icarus is going to be able to keep up. Climbing Entrelac Mountain is far more enticing than wandering through the yarn over watering holes of Icarus or bonding together with the Slip Slip Knit Sisters. Entrelac Mountain is an adventure not to be missed. Lace, right now, just does not hold enough steam against climbing this mountain.

I am just beginning the second striping of burgundy on Kuba, which is just before I start the entrelac section. I'm really looking forward to working the entrelac. I've never done it before so this will be an entirely new technique.
